Brand Identity

As one of Seattle’s first neighborhood cannabis shops, Uncle Ike’s needed a brand that stood out—and stood for something. Located in the heart of the Central District, the shop embraced a vintage apothecary vibe, brought to life through the character of a fictional “Uncle Ike.” Graphiti developed an identity system full of bold typography, nostalgic styling, and playful irreverence—establishing a unique tone that extended across signage, packaging, and apparel. The result is a distinctive neighborhood brand that helped define the retail cannabis experience in Seattle and became one of the city’s most recognizable cultural markers.
