Position: Web QA + Production Specialist
Location: Fully remote; WA State residents preferred
Status: Hourly contract (25–40 hours/week), ~6 months
Rate: $35.00–$45.00/hour DOE
JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Web QA + Production Specialist to support a high volume of web production work across multiple clients and projects.
This role primarily focuses on detailed QA review of webpages to ensure content accuracy, layout consistency, and overall quality prior to delivery, while also supporting light project coordination and production tasks. Responsibilities include tracking page status, documenting issues, communicating clearly with internal teams to keep work moving smoothly, and copying web production Figma files. This is a fully remote, hourly contract role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform detailed QA reviews of webpages to ensure content, layout, links, and formatting match specifications
- Verify accuracy across text, images, links, localization, and page structure
- Test pages for responsiveness and visual consistency across devices and browsers
- Log, track, and clearly document issues and fixes using task and ticketing tools
- Assist with page tracking, status updates, and coordination across multiple projects
- Communicate clearly with designers, developers, and account managers regarding findings and priorities
- Ensure work is client-ready before delivery, serving as a final quality checkpoint
- Support process improvement by identifying recurring issues or workflow gaps
- Copy Figma artboards for localization inputs by the client
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in a QA, content operations, web production, or project coordination role
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with web content, layouts, and basic front-end concepts
- Comfortable reviewing work against requirements, specs, and client requests
- Strong written communication skills and ability to clearly document feedback
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Experience working with task or project management tools (Asana, Jira, etc.)
- Must pass a background check and comply with client confidentiality requirements
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Agency or client-services experience
- Experience QA’ing localized or multilingual content
- Familiarity with CMS platforms or web publishing workflows
- Working knowledge of SEO, accessibility, or web best practices
- Familiarity with project management and ticketing tools (Asana, Jira, etc.)
- Comfort collaborating with distributed teams using tools like Slack, Zoom, or Teams
- Familiarity with Figma and/or other design and web production tools
